Akpos, a driver who survived in a tragic accident which rendered 50 people dead at Lagos-Ibadan Express Way was remanded in police custody to assist in police investigation. Here is the Interrogation: POLICE: Mr Akpos, how did you end up killing 50 people? AKPOS: I was driving at 150km/hr when I saw two men crossing the road. On the other side, a wedding was taking place. I hit the brake but it failed, so I had to  make a choice; either hit the two men or run into the wedding party. POLICE: Hit the two men of course to reduce Casualties! AKPOS: Exactly, we think alike oooh! But after hitting one, the other man escaped into the wedding party. POLICE: So, what did you do? Olamide is the newest addition to the D’banj’s DB records.

Stories about D banj and Olamide Final is confirmed.

After weeks of speculations, D’banj finally signs hot Yoruba lingo rapper, Olamide to DB records.
Kay Switch, D’banj’s younger brother broke the news via micro blogging site, twitter.
“@kayswitch Welcome to the family! Baddo”, Kay Switch tweeted.
This is coming days after a report by Finestouch M&D on the possibilities of the rapper joining D’banj.
Both artistes are currently in Atlanta, USA, for a show.

now the fate of some of the artistes signed to Olamide’s YBNL outfit is yet unknown. Attempts to get Olamide’s manager to speak proved abortive as calls placed to his phone were unanswered.


is this a good omen,is this a good move by both D banj and Olamide, and what is the fate of Music for the street, is Olamide going to be the king of the street or what,is it better to stand alone or form an alliance, will his boastful lyrics of one man mopol still be or changed?...

D' banj signs Olamide to DB records?

The answer to the question in the headline is still not confirmed but K Switch; D’ banj’s younger brother has flagged off a red alert that says this is likely true.
He took to twitter on the early hours of Thursday to welcome Olamide to the ‘family’.

 , however there is no official confirmation to this gist yet. Reports say they are both in Atlanta currently with a duo  performance scheduled to take place Friday at AYVA Centre in Houston.

D’banj featured Olamide, Durella, K-switch and J-sol. in the track Ibadi E from his D’ Kings Men album.

Olamide and D’banj have been seen together in recent times fueling speculations that the performer will be joining D’banj.

Is Olamide joining DB Records? There have been speculations spreading around that Yoruba lingo rapper, Olamide, might be joining GOOD Music star, D’banj.
Olamide appeared thrice on the new compilation album of D’banj’s records titled DKM- D’Kings Men.
They both have been seen together in recent times, with the latest being at the Nigerian Entertainment Conference at Eko Hotel last Friday.
There are compelling signs about a possibility of Olamide joining DB records.
Also, Olamide will be the only non-DB act performing at D’banj’s DKM concert featuring American rapper, 2chainz. Several pictures of both artistes have surfaced on the internet in recent times.
More so, the ring back tone of Olamide’s manager is D’banj’s “Let it bounce” (Ibadi E) featuring Olamide, Kayswtich and Durella.
A source who pleaded anonymity says there is nothing concrete between D’banj and Olamide for now, but, the label could ride on the back of the speculation and sign the hot rapper.
Several calls placed to Olamide’s manager to confirm or refute the rumour were not answered.

May D, P-Square featured in new album(did they reconcile)

Late August last year, pop singer Akinmayokun May D Awodumila got the shock of his life when he learnt he had been dropped from Square records (P-Square record label) due to irreconcilable differences, he screamed blue murder, threatened litigation and countered by launching his own outfit Confam Entertainment; releasing singles and videos. Today, however, these two camps may have reconciled.
Come May 10, this writer has learnt May D’s highly anticipated album will drop and it features PSquare in a powerful collaboration called You want to know me.
The 20 tracked album titled Chapter one also features Tu face in No Body, K-Switch and Olamide in Kigbe and then Davido in Ur Eyes.
 On August 21, Square Records boss Jude Okoye had sent out a statement which reads…
I, JUDE ‘ENGEES’ OKOYE of Square Records Limited and Northside Entertainment Limited hereby announces to the general public that Mr. Akinmayokun Awodumila, otherwise known as MAY D is no longer an artiste under the aforementioned outfits due to irreconcilable differences. We at Northside and Square records wish him all the best in his career and life.
The full details of their reconciliation are not immediately clear, what we do know however, is that May D does not intend going back to Square records. Or should he?

May D will be launching his album on May 26 at a live concert in Abuja with Davido, 2face Idibia, Iyanya, Olamide, Jaywon, Reminisce, K-Switch and many others in performance.
