President Obama: 'I Could Win' Third Term In White House (ABC News)

President Obama thinks he 'could win' a third term in the White House if term limits didn't bar him from running in 2016. 

“I actually think I’m pretty good president,” he said today in a speech before the African Union in Ethiopia. 

“I think if I ran, I could win. But I can’t.” 

Even though he's confident in his re-election abilities, Obama said he's more interested in life after the presidency. 

“I'll be honest with you, I'm looking forward to life after being president. I won't have such a big security detail all the time,” he said. “It means I can go take a walk, I can spend time with my family, I can find other ways to serve, I can visit Africa more often “ 

News:US President Obama warns African leaders who refuse to step down

Barack Obama on Tuesday condemned African leaders who refuse to give up power and urged the continent to end "the cancer of corruption", in the first ever address to the African Union by a US president.

But Obama said the rest of the world also needed to change its approach to Africa by boosting fair trade and not just providing aid handouts, and vowed that the United States stood with the region to defeat terrorism and end conflict.

News: Buhari, Osinbajo Declare Assets

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari and his Vice, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, have declared their assets.

A statement by the Senior Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu said..

“The documents submitted to the CCB, which officials say are still being vetted and will soon be made public, show that prior to being sworn in on May 29, President Buhari had less than N30 million to his name. He also had only one bank account, with the Union Bank. President Buhari had no foreign account, no factory and no enterprises. He also had no registered company and no oil wells”, the statement said.
