Rasheed Martins (born 12 April 1981)

Professionally referred to as Dj Rexy, is a Nigerian disk jockey .

He is from a family of five which includes his elder brother two sisters, him and a dead brother.

As a Nigerian top dj and a part of the Nigerian dj association body (Djan) Dj Rexy has supported several Nigerian musicians, including 9ice, Wizkid, David, Dbanj, wandecoal, oritse femi, juwel, durella, slim case, pasuma, reminisce, Qdot and small doctor.

[1]he has released several mixtapes, including Dj Rexy ileya mix 2000, dj Rexy hot mixtape 2001, dj Rexy best mix 2005, Dj Rexy Trending mix, Dj Rexy 2020 New Mix and Dj Rexy Mid Year Mix 2021 among others.

Early life

 Dj Rexy was born in Lagos State to Nigerian parents from an area called isale eko and currently lives in Lagos state, Nigeria. [2] He had education at the Lagos state polytechnic, his middle school at 

Ransom kuti memorial grammar school and Senpoul memorial grammar school.

Career:

Dj Rexy started his career within the Lagos Nigeria playing local streets within the onipanu a part of lagos before playing at some local clubs on the mainland in Lagos also as Guest playing at Club "Emporium". He also participated in the Hennessy Dj Competition in Lagos, where he got his big break as the winner in 2008.[4] Dj Rexy has performed alongside acts like Davido, 9ice, Oritse Femi. He also was the official DJ for Pasuma. Dj Rexy commando show powered by Hennessy which started in Lagos in February 2015. In January 2010, he was appointed as Hennessy official disc jockey and an ambassador. He later started hosting different tours and shows.[5] tours with top Nigerian artist, a show rebranded from Dj Rexy street storm to Dj Rexy Storm with Hennessy within the year 2018.

In December 2020. DJ Rexy released another mixtape.

Dj Rexy is a husband , he's married to Mrs olubumi martins, with three children, two boys one girl. As a husband he's considered a caring father to his children.
