Cape Town – It’s spring break, well in Mexico at least, and while it’s advised to never go on spring break while in a relationship, some people just never learn.

One of those suckers is Patrick Schwarzenegger.

After pictures of the hunky model cosying up to a female friend while on spring break in Mexico surfaced, Patrick took to his Twitter account to make sure everyone knew that they were just very good friends…

Eating lots of sugar is associated with a higher BMI

"Obese people are 'in denial' about the amount of sugar they eat," the Mail Online reports. Researchers looking into the link between sugar consumption and obesity found a "huge gap" between overweight people's self-reported sugar consumption and the reality, according to the news story.

Researchers assessed the self-reported sugar consumption (based on food diaries) and sugar levels in urine samples in about 1,700 people in Norfolk. After three years, they had their body mass index (BMI) measured.

Los Angeles - Stefano Gabbana has slammed Sir Elton John as a "fascist" and "ignorant" after the singer encouraged people to boycott Dolce and Gabbana over their opinions on gay adoption and children born through IVF.

The 52-year-old designer - who runs fashion house Dolce and Gabbana with business partner Domenico Dolce - admitted he "didn't expect" such a backlash after the pair branded kids conceived through fertility treatment "synthetic" and admitted they "opposed gay adoptions".
